Hide AdSt Andrews took the lead early on by capitalising on a loose ball in the D. Going 1-0 down spurred the Reivers players into action and they started to put together some good passes up the left hand side, from Jenny Wright in defence to Aimee Martin.
Aimee’s skilful play released Caitlin Wright to deliver a perfectly-weighted cross which was met by Tara Aitchison just outside the circle, with space. This enabled her to make a clean strike at goal, levelling the score at 1-1 .
The second half saw Reivers as the dominant side, looking strong in attack and also showing some great defence, with a confident display from the debutant goalkeeper Rosie McLeman.
The match ended with both teams taking away a point from this encounter.
