Peebles boss Drew Moore blasted the quality of refereeing at National One level after he watched his men lose to Selkirk on Saturday.

In the first half, the Gytes men matched the Souters, Greg Raeburn and Josh Welsh managing one penalty each in the driving drizzle.

Calum McColm and, allegedly, James Bett, touched down for Selkirk in the second half, one of them converted by Welsh, who also added another penalty.

Try as they might, Peebles couldn’t get past a steadfast Selkirk defence in the dying stages.
