Jed continued their recent run of good form on Saturday with a clinical victory over National League One table props Peebles.

Tries from Fraser Harkness and Gregor Young, both converted by Gregor Mein, took Jed into a 14-6 half-time lead with Greg Raeburn kicking three penalties for the hosts.

After the restart Mein booted the ball across the field which was chased and caught by Michael Weekley who ran in for the try.

A Rory Marshall try put the game out of sight with Peebles scoring a converted try in the last play of the match.

“Michael’s try for me was the highlight,” said Jed coach Jammie McFarlane.

“Gregor launched a bomb into the far corner and amazingly Michael caught it. I never cease to be amazed.”
