Jed Thistle continued their unbeaten Semi-Junior League run with a convincing win against Hawick PSA at Burnfoot on Saturday.
The first 10 minutes saw PSA with the early pressure and Thistle struggling to get out of their own half.
But, after a penalty attempt by PSA came back off the post, the visitors got their act together with Rory Marshall scoring the first try. Further tries from Robbie Yourston, Joe Amos, Calum Young and Aiden Walker (2), plus two conversions from Yourston, gave Thistle a 34-0 interval lead.
With the wind behind them in the second half, Thistle kept the pressure on their hosts with further tries coming from Marshall, Walker, Munro, Fasih Sultan, Young and Clarkson with Stephen Smith, on his debut for the Jed youngsters, scoring the last try. Yourston converted four to complete the scoreline.
