Marooned in London

London Scottish 32

Gala 0

WITH no bearing on who could win the pool and progress, Gala sent out what could be deemed an experimental selection, but ultimately came up short.

Coach George Graham was magnanimous in defeat against the English full-timers, saying: “I thought we played very poorly, but, by the same token, I thought London Scottish were awesome.”

After a scrappy start the hosts took a firm grip on the game and never looked back. Tries from Mark Bright, Jamie Stevenson (3) and James Love, who also kicked a penalty and two conversions, made up the final scoreline.
