Linden laid low by Linlithgow

At the final whistle, Linden were left wondering how they ended up with nothing from this game – not even a losing bonus point.

On reflection, they would feel a failure to turn possession and field position into points, areas which were adversely affected by a creaking scrum and regularly losing their own line-out ball, were crucial. Also, Linlithgow’s defence was well-organised.

Gary Lowrie and Chris Telfer scored Linden’s tries, with Kirk Ford converting one.
