IT was much to the relief 
of the home crowd when a last minute try from Jordan Lunt sealed victory for the Youth 

A converted try by the visitors was the only score of first half.

Kelso increased their lead from a well-struck penalty after the restart, but this time the hosts responded, with Jack Elliot slotting a similar effort before Stewart Hendry went over for a try.

This seemed to rattle Kelso who added another penalty and a try to make the score 18-8 with 15 minutes remaining. Some good combination play by the Youth Club led to flanker Scott McClymont scoring in the corner, but with full time looming, it looked as if Kelso would be going home with the 

As the game moved into injury time, however, Youth Club gained possession in their own half and Lunt dashed over near the posts with Jack Elliot knocking over the conversion.

With virtually the last play of the game Kelso were awarded a penalty, but the resulting kick dropped short.
