Fifteen-man Langholm brave in defeat as Livvy turn up the pressure

Livingston 48

Langholm 19

LANGHOLM battled bravely at Livingston last Saturday, when they contested the entire game with only a 15-man squad.

Against the run of play, the home side took the lead with a brace of tries. A good period by Langholm ended with Keith Davidson feeding Niall Cubbon for a try which he also converted to make it 10-7. Two simple home penalties made the score 13-7 at the interval.

Two converted tries put the hosts further in front after the restart before Cubbon penetrated the home defence to score and convert for Langholm.

Lewis Miller scored another try for the visitors late on, but three converted tries from Livingston made it a rather flattering final scoreline.
