Dominant display at Riverside Park

JED started this game with the strong wind at their backs and dominated the early exchanges.

The first points came after eight minutes when Chris Laidlaw converted a penalty, while tries followed from Mark Burke and Donald Grieve, both converted by Laidlaw, to give the hosts a 17-3 lead at the break.

Now with wind advantage, Haddington added another penalty to an earlier one, which was to be their last score of the game.

A Robert Hogg touchdown, plus a conversion and penalty from Laidlaw, completed the scoring.
