The Border League has attracted a new sponsor for the forthcoming season.
Booker Wholesale, which serves businesses in the Borders, has stepped in to support the oldest rugby league in the world.
Robert Hogarth, president of the Border League, said: “We are all delighted that the Border League is to have a new sponsor in place.
“I am sure this will be a successful partnership and it is good to have such a high profile company as Booker to support all the Border clubs and their members.”
David Lindsay of Booker said: “Rugby in the Borders is an integral part of the community and we are delighted to be supporting and investing in the Borders.”
All Border League club players and members will be able to use Booker as affiliates.
