IN the end it was another away defeat, but the Milntown men did pick up a point for four tries.

Kilmarnock made all the running in the early stages and grabbed two converted touchdowns. Langholm hit back with two penalties from Niall Cubbon.

Killie replied with another brace, one converted, before Langholm grabbed a try through Jordan Reid, Cubbon converting. Half-time: 26-13.

Another two home converted tries increased the margin, but Langholm also notched two through Stuart Graham and Reid.

Killie added another converted try, but Langholm had the last say when Keith Davidson dotted down.
