Kelso squad makes short work of hospital help venture

Throughout April and May a group of Kelso RFC players bleached and shaved their hair to help raise funds for Friends of Kelso Hospital.

Players managed to raise £1450 which was then matched by Kelso Farmers Market, making a grand total of £2900.

Kelso Community Hospital is currently looking to develop better facilitates for palliative patients and their families.

Palliative care has always been an important part of care in the community and has been even more brought to light over recent months during the COVID-19 pandemic.

A huge ‘thank you’ was conveyed to Kelso Farmers Market and to everyone who donated to such great cause.
