Who in your sport has inspired you most and why?: Sarah Robertson as she has worked her way through all stages of Scottish hockey and now plays for GB. She also attended the same school, club and district teams as me.

FavE sporting moment of all time as a spectator: Watching the Hockey World Cup in the Netherlands was really special, the atmosphere was electric.

Best thing about your sport: You get to play with lots of different people from all across Scotland as well as experiencing new places/cultures as you travel with teams.

What do you do to tune-in immediately before a competition?: Enjoy listening to music or just time alone to prepare for the match ahead.

If you had the chance to change one thing in your sport, what?: More TV coverage of both men’s and women’s hockey to promote the sport, getting more people involved.

Venue at which you most aspire to compete: Keith Hunt Park, Labrador – the venue for the 2018 Commonwealth Games on Australia’s Gold Coast.

If not in this sport, would like to compete in:

Probably cross-country skiing or swimming as I still enjoy doing these sports when the hockey season is over.

Current most-played song or track on your i-pod or MP3: I like a mixture of things as I listen to everything on shuffle, but I like a bit of Ed Sheeran or Iggy Azalea.

... but can’t stand: Classical!

Other interests away from my sport: I enjoy meeting up with friends, skiing, travelling.

Fantasy away day (all expenses paid): I’d love to visit New Zealand one day or go back to NYC again.
