Fjordhus fourths kept their challenge in East League three heading in the right direction with a victory at a wet and windy Tranent.

The home side started strongly and earned themselves a penalty corner early into the half. However, the home defence maintained their composure and cleared each of the threats.

Defender Emma Spence finally made a break through the middle giving Reivers the opportunity to attack with Alex Bell working her way past the opposition to slot the ball calmly past the keeper.

Another breakthrough just before half time by Jodie Sinclair allowed Gillian Wallace to tap the ball into the back of the goal to give the visitors a 2-0 half-time lead.

The second half saw a confident Reivers side resume their attack and dominate the remainder of the game. Despite numerous shots at goal however each opportunity was denied by a strong opposition defence. That was until Bell took a reverse shot at top D which sent the ball flying past the keeper and into the top right corner.

Ross High fought back strongly but their attacks were halted by great saves and determined defending. The home side did manage to win back a goal when a player in the D managed to lift the ball past the keeper to end the scoring.
