Wheely poor conditions

KELSO WHEELERS held their 20-mile championship time trial on the St Boswells course on Monday.

Sixteen riders took part in less than ideal conditions, battling through wind and rain, but six still managed to record personal best times. Kenny Darling was first to cross the line and retained his championship title.

Next week sees a first for Kelso Wheelers when they hold a 25-mile time trial on the Paxton/Greenlaw course.

Riders should sign on as soon as possible on the night near the Paxton War Memorial, with the first rider away at 6.30pm.
