The finals of both the drlightbodypainter.com Knock-out Cup and Plate took place in fine conditions at Ettrick Forest Bowling Club in Selkirk.
In a very exciting cup final, Border League Champions Waverley met Wilton and after six ends it was the Hawick side who led by 31-26.
Waverley hit back to take a 63-56 lead and over the concluding three ends, Wilton outscored Waverley by 17-10 to level the contest at 73 shots each.
For the second year running, the cup was decided on most rinks up, with Waverley winning three rinks to two to add the cup to their league title.

The Knock-out Plate for B teams was won by Hawick B, who defeated Kelso B.
The Hawick side took an early lead and never looked to be in trouble, finishing with four winning rinks, and by 67-41.

In between the two finals, Border League president Colin Sandilands, from the host club, thanked league sponsors D.R. Lightbody Painters and presented the trophies to all the league winners.
Waverley collected the First Division Cup, Selkirk won the Second Division and Wilton B the B League as well as the Senior League title.
The Border League AGM will be held on Tuesday, October 28 in Abbotsford BC.
