Waverley A score last-minute victory

THINGS were hotting up in Division One of the Borders Pool League this week as top dogs Waverley A scraped a last-gasp win at High Level, Ship A closed the gap by blowing away the Dryburgh and Waverley B stayed in touch, edging the Fleece in a thriller at Hawick.

Reivers A stayed second after Red Lion Kelso failed to turn up.
