Claus Vissing is hoping that both he and the Berwick Bandits can push on after the team’s biggest win of the season over Newcastle at the weekend.
Vissing just missed out on a first paid maximum of the season when he was beaten by Lewis Kerr in heat 15.
“It was close,” he said, “ and it would have been nice to get my maximum, but I was just pleased to be scoring well and for the team to get a good win under our belts.
“Hopefully we can build on this and move forward for the rest of the season. We have had a difficult start’ with a few injuries and team changes, but now we have seven riders back on track again and we can push on from here””
