ST Boswells added the Border Sunday League title to their East Division Two crown, after Selkirk conceded last Sunday’s match.

Elsewhere, Hawick defeated Gala by 33 runs at Buccleuch Park. Euan Hair was top scorer with 25 for the hosts in their total of 120 for 9, while Jason Antony picked up 4 for 12.

Gala never recovered from being 5 for 2, and were skittled out for 87, with Craig MacDougall picking up three wickets.

Borders 20/20 finals day was washed out, as was Gala’s President’s Trophy final with Edinburgh.

Both will now take place at the start of next season.

Meanwhile, St Boswells face Gala in the League Cup final – delayed from last season – at Meigle Park on Saturday.
