Another winning performance sees Kelso’s second XI consolidate their lead at the top of East League Division Two.
Early possession and pressure saw Kirsty Logan score the opener from a cleanly-taken penalty corner, quickly followed by a reverse stick flick from Rhona Fleming to see the Tweedsiders two goals up after five minutes.
Logan, currently on a great run of form, put away the third goal for Kelso, but Fidra stuck in well and came back time and time again with some threatening breaks which were rewarded with goals either side of half-time to make the score 3-2.
Midway through the second half, player manager Debra Martin made her debut for Kelso and was soon in on the action, crossing the ball to find Fleming perfectly positioned on the post to score her second goal.
The match was put out of reach of the North Berwick outfit with a lovely weighted pass from Jenny Thumwood, playing outfield from her usual position of goalie, for captain Sophie Aitchison to slot home for the final score.
