Reivers put themselves on the map

JOHN TULLIE, captain of Roxburgh Reivers Orienteering Club, was very proud of the team who returned from the Forest of Dean on Sunday.

The Borderers came second in the British Club Trophy for clubs with under 125 members.

Tullie said: “We’re one of the smallest clubs in Britain and to finish second is a tremendous achievement and our best ever performance.”

The team scored maximum points on five of the 10 courses with wins from Kirstin Maxwell, Lindsey Knox, Faisal Khursheed, Doug Tullie and Robin Sloan.
