TWEED Leader Jed Track runners enjoyed success at the Young Athletes’ Trophy meet at Pitreavie Athletics Stadium on Sunday.
In the under-11 age group, Josh Dougall from Galashiels won the 75m and 150m events. Brother Matt took third place in the under-13 200m with a new PB of 28.60 seconds.
Also in the under-11s, Angus Bryce of Morebattle took first in the long jump, second in the 75m and third in the 150m.
Finally, in the under-17s, Mhairi Henderson of Earlston took third in the 200m and followed this with a win in the 300m in a new PB of 44.50 seconds. Sophie Collins of Moorfoot took third.
Eilidh Child, Olympic 400m hurdles semi-finalist, who began her career at Pitreavie, presented the trophies.
The club championship will take place this weekend, followed by the social night and presentation on September 28.
