Park shines in final day

Langholm beat Keswick 3rds by 149 runs

A CENTURY from Gregor Park led Langholm to a comfortable final day victory.

Langhom opened the batting and reached 27 before Gregor Masterton (2) was dismissed by Scott.

Skipper Duncan Elliot (17) joined Gregor Park, but just as they were getting settled, Elliot was caught and bowled by Maxwell.

Park was eventually bowled by Maxwell for a faultless 105, the fifth time he has scored three figures for the club.

Andrew Bell was bowled by McGowan for a stirring knock of 30 as the total reached 202 for 4.

Graham Park fell for 10, as Euan Wilson (34) and David Little (4) were at the crease as Langholm declared on 251 for 5.

Keswick struggled with the bat and Graham Park took two early wickets to restrict the home side to 17 for 2.

Moss (16), West (28), McGowan (12) and Richardson (10) reached double figures, but with one player retiring, Keswick were all out for 102 in 27 overs.

In the Langholm bowling attack Jamie Ashton-Smith finished with 3 for 13 and Graham Park 2 for 10.
