Niki’s lead the charge

THERE is no change at the top of the Belhaven Border Pool League Division One table as Waverley A continue their good run of form, beating Ship A, while Niki’s A move into second with a tense victory over St Boswells Legion.

Champions White Swan (Earlston) bounced back with a resounding defeat of Niki’s B and Red Lion eased past relegation fighters Bridge A.

Division Two saw a tremendous table-topper with Fleece edging out leaders High Level by the odd frame to go top.

Abbotsford are chasing hard in third, overcoming a strong Kings Arms squad while Bridge B beat a disappointing Waverley B and Ship B won a last-frame thriller against Dryburgh.
