Hawick completed the double over a weakened Melrose side with a seven-wicket victory at Huntlyburn in East Division Seven.
Hawick won the toss and elected to field, with Neil Storey claiming a wicket in the opening over. Storey went on to grab four wickets while Benny Hartop snared two wickets and Doug Bryant cleaned up the tail with a trio of victims, leaving Melrose 62 all out.
After tea, the Teries changed their batting line-up, with Storey and Declan Solley opening. But Storey was soon back in the pavilion without troubling the scorer before Craig Macdougall was given out lbw following a series of lusty legside blows. Pierce Solley joined his brother and took the score close to the winning post until he holed out for 15.
But Hartop (9 no) and Declan Solley (11 no) saw the visitors home.
