A KELSO swimmer made waves in Glenrothes at the Dunedin Swim Challenge last weekend.
Alex Thompson (15) competed in 10 events over two days, ranging from 50m to 200m races.
He came home with two gold medals gained in the 50m backstroke and 200m individual medley, as well as eight silver medals. He also achieved seven personal best times.
Alex, who was swimming for Eyemouth for the first time, has had a hard summer of training and this is really just the beginning of the season for him.
Robbie Buckley, also from Kelso and swimming for Eyemouth, competed in three events, gaining substantial personal best times in them all.
