BORDERS Pool League competitors have reached the halfway stage of a highly-competitive season.

At the top of Division One, Waverley A edged one point clear of High Level, who won a titanic battle against unlucky Ship A, while Niki’s A kept their good run going by easing past Waverley B. Fleece jumped off the bottom by blowing away Abbotsford impressively.

In the second flight Reivers B strode majestically clear, demolishing a plucky Niki’s B, while Reivers C and Ship B both won well to chase what looks an unassailable lead. Outpointed White Swan gave Reivers A a good run, just losing narrowly in a tight match.
