Registration for the 2015 Borders Triathlon Series has opened and athletes are being urged to sign-up quickly as many events are already booking-up.
This year’s Borders Sport and Leisure Triathlon series will take place at six locations across the Borders, with sprint events at Eyemouth, Galashiels, Hawick, Kelso and Peebles; a standard event at Selkirk and Come & Tri events (shortened courses perfect for novice competitors) at Eyemouth, Galashiels, Hawick, Kelso and Peebles. The series has become one of the most popular in Scotland, attracting hundreds of competitors from across the Borders, Lothians and further afield.
Ewan Jackson, chief executive of Borders Sport and Leisure said: “Our triathlon series continues to grow in both stature and popularity. The events are renowned for being both friendly and well organised and are open both to regular competitors and those who may be taking part in a triathlon for the first time.
