Emily helps Scots in rout

SELKIRK hockey star Emily Newlands played both games at the weekend against North of England for Scotland Under-18s.

In their first game, the Scots won by an incredible 12-0, and more modest 6-3 in the second.

Emily scored her first goal for Scotland – a straight strike from a penalty corner.

These were games to test the skills of the Scottish side before the three tests in Ireland next week.
