THE stock car season gets underway at the Cowdenbeath Racewall this coming Saturday with a formula II, saloon and prostox format.

It is some 30 years since BriSCA (British Stock Car Association) came to Scotland under the banner of GMP, who opened a track at Newtongrange, and local interest comes in the shape of John Hogg (St Boswells) who should be making his debut having taken over the driving from father Brian.

There should be a good turnout of saloons and prostox to make it an interesting meeting.
