WEST LINTON middle-distance runner Chris O’Hare has been selected for Team GB and NI at next month’s world indoor championships in Poland.
The 23-year-old is one of five Scottish athletes to be named in the squad of 35 who will travel out to Sopot for the event on March 7-9.
Meanwhile, Selkirk’s Henry Clarkson, 14, was outstanding in the Under-16 Scottish Championships. He picked up gold in the triple jump with a PB of 12.11m, taking him to the top of the under-17 Scottish rankings, and a PB in long jump of 5.77m, winning him a silver medal.
