Border Women put up little opposition

GALA U15 continued their league campaign on Friday night with a visit to St Boswells to play Border Women.

Batting first, Gala got off to a good start with Jack Halls and Craig Hancock opening. Halls was first to fall when he was bowled for 17. Hancock continued to score well as Gala built up a good score of 50 before retiring with three overs to go. with the score on 105.

The Border Women found it very difficult to score against the Gala attack. Gala took the opportunity to give most of their players a bowl. The ladies were bowled out in the final over for 53 runs.
