The stage is set at Boroughmuir RFC’s Meggetland ground for the City of Edinburgh Running Festival tomorrow, writes John Slorance.
Under the banner of Border Athletics, the Meggetland card is a top-notch one.
The main feature is the 110m handicap which has an impressive first prize of £3,000.
The 10-heat event has all the makings of being a red-hot affair.
Back marker for the race is Greg Turnbull of TLJT, who competes from scratch. A half metre ahead of him is Steven Charters of Dolphinton, who lines up against his brother Jordan in the sixth heat.
New Year sprint victor Ben Robbins of Edinburgh is off 2.50m, while Seb Harrison Jed AC (3m) leads a strong Borders challenge.
Another big race on the programme is the 800m handicap, which has a first prize of £750.
Joint back markers in this one are Colin Welsh (Kelso), Craig Robertson (Pitreavie) and Sean Reilly (Central AC).
