The Berwickshire driver’s achievements will be celebrated again this year, with plans in place at the Knockhill circuit in Fife to celebrate the 50th anniversary of his title triumph in Britain’s premier motor sport series.

Clark’s famous Lotus Cortina from the 1964 BTCC season was at Donington alongside one of his road cars – a bespoke Cortina that had been developed by his then Team Lotus boss Colin Chapman.
