Impressive exhibits at Kelso dart gallery
Leading names among the world’s top 16 players came along for a double helping of match action, starting with the MKM 4 Nations Classic, contested by players from Scotland, UK, Holland and Australia.
There was great afternoon delight when the Scottish pair of Gary Anderson and Robert Thornton won in the final against Dutchmen Raymond van Barneveld and Vincent van der Voort.

Hide AdThere was consolation in the evening, however, for Vincent van der Voort when he defeated Australia’s Simon Whitlock in the final of the Dalgleish Citroen Kelso Masters, a singles challenge featuring the invited professionals and some of the best Borders county and league players. Guest pros also included Mark Webster, Michael Smith and Paul Nicholson.
Ryan Hogarth, one of the local players who took part, is off this weekend with fellow Borderer Jimmy McGuigan to play in the Home Internationals in Bradford.
