Clerk of the Course, Anthea Morshead reported that there had been 6mm rain in the last 24hrs at the course and the going for this afternoon’s Scottish Borders National meeting would be heavy. The wind has eased however with the forcast dry, bright and breezy.

Gates open at 10am and the seventh and final race is off at 3.15pm.

Racegoers should take note of several road closures in the area - there are currently 20 road closures in the Scottish borders region in all, including the B6350 from Kelso to Wark on the Northumberland side closed due to flooding.
