MyGolfRanking.net Borders golfers of week 2020/19 are Lynne Flannigan (Kelso Ladies), who climbs to number four on MGR Borders ladies ranking, and Greg Easton, of Hawick GC, who ascends to number one on MGR Borders men ranking.

David Moir, past president of the Scottish Golf Union and managing director of In League With Golf Ltd., explained that, although there was no competitive golf being played at the moment, the weekly rankings were still changing, as they were based on a 52-week cycle.

This meant points gained from the corresponding week 12 months ago were dropped although, just now, they were not being replaced from the current week, as would normally be the case.
