Hawick Waverley 7

Duns Amateurs 1

WAVERLEY gained sweet revenge for a 6-1 defeat at the hands of Duns earlier in the season with a runaway victory.

The Teries opened the scoring through a Scott Craig goal.

From here on Waverley pounded the Duns defence and scored twice through Liam Lavery and Dean McColm, but they were kept at bay on several occasions by excellent saves from the Dingers’ keeper.

In the second half, McColm netted a further three times, while Ross McLeod also got into the scoring act.

Duns opened their account when trailing by six goals.
