Selkirk FC to host meeting

A meeting has been arranged for tonight (Monday) at Selkirk FC, for anyone with an interest in the future of the club.

The get-together is at 7pm and the club has declared everyone is welcome.

However, very little other information has been given, with the Yarrow Park outfit declaring on its Twitter and Facebook pages: “No further statement by the club will be made; we hope to see you there.”

Saturday’s scheduled Lowland League game away to Kelty Hearts, which had been expected to go ahead, was called off owing to “circumstances”, the club on said on Twitter – but it did not explain what the circumstances were.

The club had also already announced it would be staging two more open training sessions, one tomorrow evening and one on Thursday, both at 7.15pm.
