Garry O’Connor has signed a one-year extension to his player-manager contract at Yarrow Park.
The 33-year-old former Scotland striker has also signed a handful of players for the 2016/17 Lowland League campaign. Fans at Yarrow Park can expect to see up to a dozen new faces – including a new assistant manager – ahead of pre-season friendlies starting at the end of June.
Former Dundee United duo Garry Kenneth and Davie Robertson will both be part of O’Connor’s squad next season. And Phil Addison, Ross King and Murray Christie have also re-signed from last season’s squad.
With Selkirk applying for a place in the East of Scotland League, it is hoped that a reserve side will also operate out of Yarrow Park.
Promising defenders James Harley and Mark Samson have both agreed terms for next season.
