Second half shoeing for Teries

Stow 5

Hawick Legion 1

A FIVE-goal second-half blitz earned Stow full honours.

Legion had the edge in the first half and took the lead when a Stow defender beat his own keeper with a pass back.

In the second period, however, it was a different story.

After equalising in the early stages through a Jay Wilson free kick, Jordan Steele rattled away two further goals in rapid succession to give Paul Young’s men the lead.

From here on, the home side were in the driving seat and went on to score a further two times, Steele netting his hat-trick and Gareth Wood adding the fifth in injury time.
