Rovers rue poor discipline

Tweeddale Rovers 1

Langholm Legion 1

TWEEDDALE and Langholm shared the points in what was a game of few chances.

The first half belonged to Tweeddale and Chris Cassidy almost put the hosts ahead when his header just missed the target before a Rhys Moffat free kick produced a good save from the Langholm keeper.

Tweeddale eventually took the lead when a great run from Simon Warren saw his shot beat the keeper to put his team ahead.

Langholm’s few chances came from too many free kicks given away by Tweeddale, who thought they had doubled their lead when Chris Cassidy chased a long through ball and beat the keeper to head home what looked like a good goal, only for the ref to rule it out.

Langholm got their goal, again from a free kick that Tweeddale failed to clear, when their forward scored from close range.
