Rovers kept up their excellent form last weekend to come back from two goals down to progress through to the third round of the King Cup.
In extremely windy conditions, Duns played with the elements in the first half. Stevie Shennan put the home side in front before James Brydon added a second for the Dingers to go in at half-time 2-0 up.
Such were the elements that it was doubtful whether the lead would be enough – and it wasn’t.
A Daniel Mcleavey corner was met by the head of Peebles captain Dale Richardson, who sent the ball into the bottom corner to give the visitors hope, before Donovan Ndiweni tapped in the equaliser.
Peebles were reduced to 10 men when Frankie Arthur was shown a red card for retaliation, but this did not deter them and Richardson netted the winner from a free kick four minutes from time.
