Hawick amateur sides suffered mixed fortunes in their respective leagues.
In what turned out to be a hard-fought game against Eyemouth, Liam Lavery put Hawick Legion in front by shooting home from a Scott Duncan corner.
Eyemouth hit back to get on level terms, but Legion edged ahead again before the break when Andrew McFarlane chipped a shot over the head of the keeper.
In the second period, Callum Hope sealed a 3-1 victory for Legion with a well-taken penalty.
Hawick Waverley began in a promising manner in their Division A match, but it was Stow who drew first – and second – blood, scoring twice against the run of play.
After Waverley had netted through a Luke Cooper strike, Stow took advantage of some poor defending to score a third.
Jason Inglis then put Waverley back in the hunt with a glorious shot that zipped into the back of the net.
Stow, however, went on to slot away a fourth to gain the honours in a 4-2 victory.
