THERE will be a bit of an international flavour to Selkirk FC’s Lowland League Cup clash against Vale of Leithen at Yarrow Park tomorrow (3pm).
All four recently-signed French players have received clearance and are available to play for Steve Forrest’s outfit.
Former Toulouse striker Yannis Lamgari and Rennes centre-half Jordaine Orain could make an appearance in tomorrow’s match, along with midfield duo Benjamin Huteau and Julio Tonelle.
The signings are part of a partnership deal between Selkirk and the EDUSports Academy managed by former Hibs player Guillaume Beuzelin, who may also be present at the game.
The partnership is part of Forrest’s long-term plan to field two teams next season.
“I am delighted to be able to introduce these four new players to the club. Everyone is buzzing at the moment,” he said.
