Difficult ties in cup

Borders sides face a tricky challenge in the first round of the Scottish Cup following Tuesday’s draw.

High-flying Selkirk host Junior East Superleague champions Bo’ness Utd, while Gala Fairydean Rovers travel to face Gretna 2008, a venue they have not had the best record at.

If Hawick Royal Albert win their replay against Newton Stewart on Saturday, they will earn an eight-hour round trip to Cove Rangers.

However, Coldstream will be on more familiar ground, travelling to play Edinburgh City.
