Baileys has launched an apple pie flavoured liqueur - this is what it tastes like

Baileys is always a popular alcoholic treat to enjoy at Christmas time. With the festive season around the corner, the Irish cream liqueur brand has released a brand new flavour for winter.

Hide AdThe apple pie flavoured version of the liqueur is described as having “the taste of warm, spiced apple pie in every glass.”
Where can I buy it?
The new festive flavour is now available to buy from The Bottle Club online.
The Apple Pie Baileys is priced at £22.99 for 70cl, with £4.99 standard delivery.

News of the new Baileys flavour has gotten the internet excited, with users taking to Twitter to share their opinions.
“Ooh! Another one to add to the collection!” Tweeted one person, with a heart eyes emoji.
Another wrote, “Yummy, I can't wait to try it.”
Not everyone was pleased by the new release however, with one person tweeting, “If red velvet was a step too far, then what fresh hell is Apple Pie Baileys?”

While the most popular way to enjoy Baileys is to drink it, whether by itself or perhaps in a hot chocolate, there are a number of ways to incorporate Baileys into cooking.
There are a variety of recipes on the Baileys website that you can try your hand at that use the cream liqueur.
For example, this recipe for Baileys french toast.
You’ll need:
100ml Baileys original irish cream (although the apple pie flavour would also work)Two eggs30ml of milkFour slices of bread40g of butterWhipped creamRaspberriesBlueberriesIcing sugar

Hide AdBegin by mixing together the eggs, milk and Baileys and then pour that mixture over the slices of bread, letting it soak in for a few minutes.
Next, melt your butter in a large frying pan over medium heat, and fry your bread slices for about two minutes, or until golden on either side.
Finally, garnish your French toast with whipped cream, raspberries, blueberries and some icing sugar and enjoy.
