Kelso TA reunion dinner planned

It is planned to hold a TA reunion in the Kelso Branch, Royal British Legion Scotland, at 66 Roxburgh Street, Kelso, on Friday, March 18, with a dinner at 7.30pm.

This is the commemorative date of the foundation of The King’s Own Scottish Borderers, as the reunion is mainly for those who served with B (KOSB) Coy, 2/52 Lowland Volunteers, in Galashiels.

It must be emphasised, however, it is for anyone who ever served in the Territorial Army, including PSIs, at any time and for any period of time. There will be a charge of £15 to cover the cost of the evening and this should be paid before the night.

It is important that this event is supported in order for it to be a success. Therefore, to ensure we gain maximum coverage, anyone interested is asked to get in touch with everyone they know who might be interested and give them the details.

To take part, call James Black, 01573 223484, or Bill Heaney, 01573 228316.
