Each year thousands of students choose to study at Borders College, whether it’s on a full-time or part-time basis. Many then move on to employment or higher education.
If you think about the people you have been in contact with over the last week, it is likely that you have come across someone who has attended Borders College – from plumbers and administrators to hairdressers and chefs from classroom assistants to sportsmen and women.
Many students who have completed their course at the college are now performing at the top of their discipline. For example, we have students who are now mountain biking champions, play rugby for Glasgow Warriors, are part of the Red Arrows engineering team or managing their own successful businesses.
Many of our students progress to further and higher education at other colleges and universities and we have dedicated support available to help you achieve these goals.
If you choose to study at Borders College you will find first-class teaching facilities, a dedicated workforce and the highest level of quality education as verified by HMIe reports and our stringent internal quality procedures.
This academic year which commences in August 2011 has lots to offer potential students and we look forward to welcoming students to the college. New for this year is our Electrical course. This is a full-time, 36-week, National Progression Award that follows a programme designed to introduce you to the skills and technical knowledge required in Electrical Installation.
You can find more information about this course and all other our courses on our website.
