Melrose yoga teacher Sue McLennan is leading an Himalayan yoga adventure for charity next year.
And anyone looking to take part is invited to an information evening this evening (Thursday, October 30) in the Ormiston Institute, Melrose at 8pm
The Yoga Scotland and IYN registered teacher has travelled extensively in Asia and will be running the three-week session to raise money for First Steps Himalaya which helps Nepali children.
The charity’s CEO and founding director Fionna Heiton said: “It is very exciting to have Sue leading the Yoga Adventure. Not only as Sue is a wonderful yoga teacher but it is great to have the Melrose connection too’
Sue, who has been teaching yoga for over 30 years, said: “Yoga Adventure participants will enjoy yoga in a variety of stunning Himalayan locations. They will trek through rhododendron forests, relax by the pool in lovely hotels, ride elephants in the jungle and experience life in an authentic Nepali village.”
